Relief Teachers
We are currently expanding our pool of relief teachers and seeking expressions of interest from registered teachers available for relief work. Prior experience in Steiner Education is not essential but highly desirable. We do require a willingness to learn and enthusiasm for teaching.

TRAINING
Teacher Training
Sydney Rudolf Steiner College (formerly Parsifal College), offers part time distance education courses primarily designed to provide State-trained teachers with the philosophical understandings necessary to support teaching in a Steiner school.
They have agreed to bring to Darwin a team of tutors to offer this opportunity to our school community and the wider community. This course provides an understanding of the basis of the Steiner curriculum together with a rich program of inner development based on artistic practice and observations of life.
Anyone with an interest in Steiner education is welcome to attend. The courses will be held in Darwin in June 2010 in the first week of the school holidays. Minimum numbers are required so please register you interest early.

Short Courses
Milkwood has begun a series of short courses to help educate our community and interested parties on elements of Steiner Education and Anthroposophy. These are held weekly for the duration of the term at Milkwood. Two courses are being run in Term 2
