September 25 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Festival to celebrate the season of Gurrung
organised by ‘Walks with Nature’ group.
It will be held at Lee Point Beach on
Friday 25 th September:
4 -6.30 ish
The late afternoon wind, Mabilil, blows in across the ocean to cool us after the heat of the day.
It is a beautiful place for a festival.
Drive to Lee Point Beach and as you walk on the path to the beach look to the left and you will see us playing on the beach or making a huge spiral in the sand.
If you are late we may be singing or having a shared supper / afternoon tea, under the shade of the Casuarina trees.
Bring a mat, some water, your food, a lantern to burn for the sand spiral and maybe a torch to get back to the car,
Di Lucas will tell a story as the sun sets. If you like bring a coloured cloth to wear as a costume for the story.
