A Festival to celebrate the season of Bangkerreng  

Thursday 25^th April, 2024  (Anzac day)

We will meet on the road to Tumbling Waters 9.30 am

Drive down Cox Peninsula road from Berry Springs.

Then you turn off Cox Peninsula towards Tumbling Waters,

 look out for our cars along the road.

We will be digging the Children’s yams close by to the cars (easy to dig)

Before noon we will go down to Tumbling Waters, on the Blackmore River.

This area is located about 5 km from Berry Springs.

Here we will cook the yams, paddle and have a picnic and play in the creek.

We will share songs and a story for our seasonal celebration.

Please bring :

a strong stick or pointed piece of steel to dig yams

a basket or bag to collect yams and bush plums and nature’s treasures

lunch and morning tea

plenty of water to drink

a rug or mat for picnic
